Whale watching

The blue whale is the largest animal in the world because of its weight and length, not only today but throughout history. During this tour, you will observe the blue whale very closely on its way through Mexican coasts. These mammals migrate from the North Pole to find warmer waters and reproduce or give birth to small calves, so that during the months of February and March you will find some couples of mother-and-child feeding in the Sea of Cortez.

Enjoy the spectacle of these animals interacting with the wildlife that inhabits the Gulf of California, which includes humpback whales, fin whales, sea lions, and dolphins, among others. Establish a connection with nature and be patient, because in this route, it is necessary to find the whales and wait for them to emerge every 10 or 15 minutes; however, the closeness and the majesty of these mammals will be worthwhile.

February and March are the best months to experience the blue whales. Discover Loreto and surroundings area and stay at Casa Mangos.
