There are so many things to do in Loreto!  First and foremost is a walk around our lovely town.

Visit the very first mission (1697) of both Baja and Alta California, Nuestra Senora de Loreto Concho.  Right next door is the Mission Museum, where a self-guided walk through of the exhibits (in English and Spanish) will walk you through the history of the region from pre-history through the 20th century. And then you can stroll through the beautiful plaza, walk under the arches of our famous ficus-lined street, to the malecon along the beautiful Sea of Cortez.

At the Marina, you will find our many panga Captains, ready and willing to take you over to visit the beautiful islands of Loreto in our National Marine Park.  We can connect you with our favorite Captains for fishing, nature boat tours, snorkeling, and/or diving!

And a little farther afield, consider a day trip to San Javier in the picturesque Sierra La Giganta mountains, the second mission established in the Californias.  There are hiking tours into beautiful canyons or to visit sites of cave paintings by the original inhabitants of the Baja peninsula.
